Kim Dannies writes among Vermont's pristine woods and mountain peaks. A 1979 graduate of the University of Vermont, she is a columnist, retired small business owner, La Varenne trained chef, and competitive cyclist. The parents of three twenty-something daughters, Kim is married to Jeff Dannies, a Financial Consultant with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Kim writes a food column “The Everyday Gourmet” for her local newspaper. She loves writing in all areas of her interests: food, sports, parenting, poetry and fiction and sharing her work with readers.
